Destiny may be envisaged as fore-ordained by the Divine (for example, the Protestant concept of predestination) or unfolding through the exertions of human will (for example, in the American concept of Manifest Destiny).
A sense of destiny in its oldest human sense remains still in the soldier's fatalistic image of the "bullet that has your name on it" or the moment when your number "comes up," or the flowering of a romance that was "meant to be."
Destiny may be seen either as a fixed sequence of events that is inevitable and unchangeable, or that individuals choose their own destiny by choosing different paths throughout their life.
It is my belief that God has provided us a life blessing us with his richness. In the parable of talents, we are reminded that we have a free will to choose. A choice to remain status quo or a choice to take the talents that God has given us and build upon them - to share with others treating them as brothers and sisters on this great planet.
Therefore, we are destined to greatness. A greatness that Advocare, hardwork and leadership shared will provide. We are destined to all the riches God has intended for us. We are Team Destiny!
